Summary:  

  • We are searching for a Physical Therapy (PT) Clinical Specialist—someone who works well in a team-driven and client centric environment In this position you’ll plan, evaluate, organize and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs in a developmentally and age appropriate manner for patients ages 12+.

Responsibilities :  

  • Completes patient evaluations and reassessments in accordance with Clinic and department guidelines Develops an individualized plan of care based upon evaluation/reassessment findings according to departmental guidelines Monitors patient response to treatment intervention Provides clinical support to assigned outpatient clinic or specialty program Provides instruction/education to patients and families/care givers Documents information in patient medical record. *The notes are more simplified given our cash-based guidelines and clientelle. Participates in staff and student development. 


Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current Texas State License to practice physical therapy 
  • Knowledge and understadnin regabilitative care of patients with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Successful demonstration of fundamental competencies of the professional competencies
  • Clinical Advancement
  • Must be articulate, empathetic, courteous, and supportive in dealing with, administrative and departmental personnel, clients, and parents with ability to honor confidentiality; able to independently treat patients by developing and following the established therapy plan of care; demonstrate excellaent verbal and written communication skills; utilize basic office equipment.

Dr. Jonathan Ruzicka

Owner, Manual Therapist

Dr. Jonathan Ruzicka was born and raised on the north side of Houston, TX where he currently resides. He went on to play Division I football at Texas State University while he earned his degree in Exercise Physiology. During his time playing football, Jonathan suffered a catastrophic back injury that sidelined him for a year. During his rehabilitation process he identified key strategies that streamlined the healing process, which is what inspired him to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Jonathan attended Physical Therapy school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he served his fellow students as Vice President of the Student Government.  

Dr. Jonathan Ruzicka is a Manual Therapist whose experience as a private therapist for professional athletes drove him to further his education attaining unparalleled skills in tissue mobility work, performance based rehab, injury prevention, myofacial release and joint mobilization to optimize human performance.

Jeff Tsao PT, DPT

Jeff is a Houston native born and raised in Sugar Land, TX. He lived in Austin for 8 years where he attended the University of Texas and pursued degrees in business marketing, biology and kinesiology. He went on to further his education by attaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine. Always hungry to learn, Jeff continued to take certification courses for advanced evaluation of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine to better suit patient needs.  

Jeff’s passion for sports and an active lifestyle led him to steer his career path towards improving others’ lives as a PT. He grew up playing soccer and basketball which helped him develop his confidence and desire to succeed. He is motivated and excited to continue learning about the field and improve his skills to better accommodate patients’ needs and provide excellence in patient care!
